You Can Live a Fearless and Unstoppable Life for Christ

You may have been told that you could have it all. As long as you put your mind to it, or had enough money, or behaved, or were smart enough…

But no matter how much you’ve tried, the world keeps letting you down. In fact, the world seems to be completely out of control. You’re powerless against the system, your environment, and the leaders who always seem to be focused on themselves. Times are hard. In all likelihood, the church may have let you down, too.

There’s only One person who hasn’t — and He will never let you down. His name is Jesus, and He’s worth everything.

In fact, living for Jesus means taking up a new calling of purpose that can make you fearless and unstoppable. You can make your life count. And you can share the love and joy in your life with others, starting a chain reaction that affects your entire community — and beyond.

But will they listen?

You know that culture is against you. You’re going to have to swim upstream. But it’s going to be the greatest adventure of your life, because the pursuit of Christ — and sharing Him with a broken, tattered, out-of-control world — isn’t just your passion, it’s your destiny.

Our society sends you to school to prepare for the next 60 years of your life on Earth. God sends you to school to prepare your friends for the next 60 trillion years in eternity!

If you want to be a leader among your peers, a person who raises a banner for the justice, freedom, and love that Christ brings, I can show you how.

My name is Dr. Nate Landis, and I’m the author of God Wants His Kids Back and the founder of Urban Youth Collaborative.

When I began public school ministry in Southern California, I had a Master of Divinity degree, and I had been married for only 18 months. Although I had a well-paying job at a church with solid health benefits, God put a burden on my heart for students who never graced the doorstep of a church. As an outreach attempt, I volunteered to be the chaplain for a football team at a nearby school. Everything changed after that.

As I learned to know students at the school, I had a stark realization. “These kids are never going to accidentally stumble into the well-endowed Presbyterian stone castle I work at down the street,” I thought. “We need to go to where they are, to meet them on their own turf first.”

I felt the depth of God’s heart for teenagers. I went home and told my wife, “I’ve got a great idea. I’m going to quit my job and go after the kids that not enough people are reaching.” Without hesitating, my wife said, “I think that sounds fantastic, sweetheart.”

The journey of faith we stepped out to embrace became a longstanding, highly effective ministry that is now called Urban Youth CollaborativeThe practical wisdom I’ve accumulated over the years allows my team and I to reach 3,500 kids every week at 100 schools in Tijuana, Atlanta, and Columbia (South Carolina).

The church that I pastor today is part of our coalition of 135 congregations who build transformational relationships with students and schools in the local communities where we live, worship, love, and serve.

I know many other leaders just like you are deeply discouraged by secular trends in culture, lack of traction with Millennials and Gen Z, and the steep decline of Christianity in America. But what I’ve seen through this ministry will give you great hope, because it proves that God is still hard at work behind the scenes and on the frontlines, raising up leaders for Himself among the youth of our nation.

You can be part of this mission — in fact, I believe that saying “YES” to this kind of ministry will be one of the greatest investments in your calling and assignment on Earth.

If you want to begin and build an effective youth ministry in your community, my team and I have developed practical strategies and tools for successful engagement.

All of them are yours inside this masterclass.

One Million People in Your Generation Are Leaving the Church Every Year. You Can Help Bring Them Back.

The world doesn’t change until WE change… each one of us.

If you think you’re too young to affect change, think again.

You do not need to be a certain age before God can use you. No matter how you feel, you are strategically positioned, right now, at the place where most of our country is determining their eternal destiny!

Your friends are looking for hope, healing, and purpose right now more than ever.  They’ll be drawn to you because Christ’s light is shining through your life.

You don’t need to “be enough” or “have enough” — God is more than enough, and He’s ready to make things happen in your community and at your school… through you.

All you have to do is say “YES.”

What Would It Be Like If You Could Give Excitement and Hope to Your Fellow Students Who Are Leading Empty Lives Without Christ?

Culture tries to tell us that life is meaningless, so we can live however we want. But the bad news is, if that life is meaningless, it is also incredibly empty.

God tells us a different story — the truth. He tells us that our lives are deeply meaningful, that we were created for a reason, and that we can live full, purposeful lives that bring Him glory and honor.

Are you willing to let your friends and fellow students get sucked into the meaninglessness? Inside, they are hungry for purpose. They are hungry for HOPE, just as you once were.

Jesus can give them hope — and abundant life.

We just need to be willing to share Him with them.

If you want to see God do incredible things in and through your generation, this is the kind of training you need to participate in what He’s doing — not just in the future, but right NOW.

”... In sharing the gospel to inner-city San Diego teens the last 15 years through Young Life, the Lord has made it clear to me that we will need others. He has also made it clear that he has sent Dr. Nate  Landis to spearhead the prayer of his heart in Urban San Diego. I thank God for the gift Dr. Nate and UYC are to San Diego County and this generation across the nation. The gift of unity and the good news of Jesus..."
